Sprinters are too pricey. Why spend 150k+ when you could drop 20k into a rebuilt E250 frame class B camper van? Fully self-contained. Easy to work on motor (lots of room, common parts). Gas is better in one of these than some of the larger class C RVs. Add solar and keep your gas generator tuned up for off grid power. I'd personally add a larger bank of deep cycle marine batteries to ensure you can be off grid longer for days when the sun won't comply.
