I bought a book on foragable plants and have been gathering fruit/berries ever since. Today I gathered 4,5kg of brambles and made enough jam of it to last through the entire year. It tastes way better than anything you can get in the supermarket. It is really worth it to gather stuff out there and turn it into something tasty. Pic related, it's part of todays bramble batch.
