>>1438698As someone who used to visit Maine from New Brunswick all the time, it has it's differences but it's largely similar. The environment is pretty similar but New Brunswick's wilderness is much thicker and more dominated by coniferous trees than Maine. The landscapes both have post glacial features and the soil is generally thin.
Maine is also much more developed than NB though, considering this province has been in an economic downturn for decades and the population is shrinking. Industries are pretty much the same though, lots of lobster fishing, forestry jobs, blueberry farms, etc.
