NC here, my woods are full of red mulberry (Morus rubra) trees and this year looks like it’s going to be a bumper crop. They’re not quite ripe yet but hopefully within the next week or so I’ll be putting away a ton of mulberry jam/preserves, can’t wait too long or else the birds will rek the whole harvest
