>How quickly do you burn through shoes?It's kind of luck of the draw, me Brooks calderas lasted me ~700 miles. But then they were pretty much grip less for the last 100 miles. Trail runners are really only built with ~600 miles in mind. Some people get more, some people get less. If you want a more rugged long lasting shoe check out something like the merrell moab.
