Learning to just not announce my opinions or feelings about things was a game changer. Most of it comes from the lizard brain anyway and doesn't help at all, it's tribal stuff. Nobody cares what my opinion about vaxxing, Trump or Ukraine is, they only care about telling their opinion to you and try to align your opinion with theirs. Again, it's lizard-brain tribal stuff, deeply embedded into our brains.
Stepping away from that noise is liberating and people will have more positive experiences with you, as you will have more positive experiences with them.
