I do have an issue, the original supporting stake has leaned and snapped from the weight of the grapes as I was not able to maintain the vine effectively,now Im wondering how feasible it would be to remove the stake and should I put in a concrete base or make the whole stake concrete? Can this be done after autumn so I can cut down the vine to a managable growth.
