I'm a faded natural tones kinda guy, but if I had to pick a suite of actual patterns, it'd be picrel - the specific choice would vary based on climate/season obviously. I guess the M01 is more or less directly interchangeable with Tropentarn, but I prefer the redder browns of the M01.

I've been considering making some stamps (like the Jap cherry blossoms for example) and adding some subtle patterning to some of my kit. Of course, just caking everything in mud has the same effect.
