>>1560813I started with a DR-40 and still own it, but now I use the DR-70D with AT4022 omni mics in a jecklin disk rig. The DR-70D makes it so easy to mount everything on one tripod with no fuss. You can just grab the handle and walk around and still have a free hand. Really nice sound with the mics and recorder and the jecklin is 100% my preferred rig setup. Really gives you a vivid sense of place and 3D immersion without all the weird phase artifacts of going full binaural.
