Not all military packs are bad, I used pic related for years before I joined the military. I like the compartmentalization most of them offer. I'm not against using other packs by any means, this one just seems to offer a good value for a lot of design features that I like. If the ruck is made of shitty materials and has bad stitching is my primary concern with it.
