Just sitting around waiting for the late afternoon so I can go fishin. Finally getting around to putting a little more line on two of my reels. The one spinning reel lost a bunch of line like 2 months ago when that monster snek ran me out and wrapped it around something underwater and it has been casting like shit. The baitcaster, I caught a bad snag and it somehow broke off like 20yds of line instead of just snapping at the leader. That one still casts fine with a little less line but it has been bugging me.
Since they both have braid, I'm just pulling the braid off and tying on a slightly longer mono backing so I don't have a knot 20yds into the line that I have to cast through. Works well using an old reel to take the braid off quickly.
