i use this one all the time. i've even sew some velcros on the bottom to attach a bike airpump when i go MTB. much secure than in the airpump rack attached to the bike.
i find really annoying carrying phone, camera, knife, lighter, wallet, gps, passport, small lighttorch, etc in my pockets. you can't seat comfortably, shit bounces if cargo pants or gets stuck and compressed if normal pants, not comfy at all. plus you get to any place, unbuckle and voilá, you are light and free.
it's been really handy while bus or train travelling or hitchhiking,you can through your backpack on the bagage compartiment or the back of a truck but you can still keep all that shit at hand and at sight.
