First time trying to identify mushrooms here. I'm having a hard time getting the right lighting for the spore print. It's white and I took it on a glass plate. I'll try taking another one tomorrow on cardboard or something.
Also notes:
Fully mature stalk bruises brown. Immature stem bruises blue.
Collected mid/late September in Northeast US. Found on a heavily rotted stump in a coniferous forest.
Immature cap is brown and club-like. Opens up to be conical and off-white on the outside but remains brown on the inside. Stem is white for mature and immature. Radial furrows in the off-white outter portion but not the inner portion. Gills are close and adnate.
Mature cap diameter ranges from 0.500"-0.900". Stalk diameter from 0.050" - 0.200". Fully mature approximate 2-3 inches in height.
Potato-like smell when crushed? Not very distinct.
I can add more pictures tomorrow if necessary, dark out now.
