I have a smaller size and got women's model of Alto Highs gtx because there were no other shoes of my size. Worked fine when walking around the city for a couple of months. Then I went to actual mountains a couple of times and my feet weren't pleased at all. My entire little toes were encased in large blisters.
So I got these Ayako Highs gtx on sale last month. Also the only male shoes they had in the store close to my size. I just got back from a hike, and they feel and perform pretty nice. Have no blisters after walking for two days with a heavy backpack. Walked into puddles and shallow creeks, managed to get into clay and mud up to the ankle, and they stayed dry inside.
I will see how they perform in snow this winter and maybe in crampons if I end up going to some mountains, but so far I'm pretty happy with these. So if anyone is considering getting these or some other Mammut shoes, go for it.
