Went with some buddies winter camping, had a new guy with us who was unprepared, but keen. We were young at the time, but had a good idea on what to do, however in the first night it dropped away to -10C when the weather was predicted to be -2C at most. This alone would have been bareable, but unbeknownst to us our newfriend had brought a winter sickness bug, which we all ended up catching the day after. The next night, he projectile vomits in the tent we are in, luckily missing me by a couple of centimeters. Called parents and got them to pick me up at midnight as there was no way I am going to endure the night in the fucking plague tent. Later on, I found out he knew he had the bug and wanted to cancel, but his mum forced him to go so she could see her new boyfriend.
