Hunting with an actual spear underwater sounds more interesting, and it's a thing apparently. I found out about "sea nomads", known as the Moken, who seem to be exceptional freedivers and hunters, and who hunt with tridents at the end of very long poles.
I need to try this. Shit, Thailand may just be my next destination for holidays.
