>>667386And to add, my main gripe with the Yuro knife laws is probably the locking blade part.
Anon in the UK was asking about the Skeletool. The knife blade was just about at the legal limit, so he was good there. But one of my favorite features of the multi-tool, the locking blade, made it illegal to have as an EDC. The locking blade is definitely safer for the user over anything. How does it become a weapon with a locking blade?
Also, what is the deal with fixed blades? They're probably illegal, right?
I don't even know US laws. I thought most states are something like <4", not a switchblade, no double-sided blades, and no butterfly knives. But this only applies if it is concealed. So if I wear a switchblade or butterfly knife or 6" double-sided blade visibly on my belt, I should be fine.
But with FL, I can carry anything if I'm /out/. You can conceal carry a gun without a CC permit in FL if you are hunting and fishing I believe. Either way, I'm not afraid of carrying around a Leatherman in my pocket.
End rant. If somebody can correct me on the US laws, I'm open to it. But they do vary slightly between states.
