The only one of those I've ridden is the Cross Check, because its what I have. It's a nice and versatile bike for the price, but not exactly the lightest or fastest. But it does handle a load reasonably well for light touring (other cyclocrossish bikes I've tried can be flexy and disconcerting when you load them up). I hardly ever ride my mountain bike since I got it.
Singlespeeds like the Genesis One and Nature Boy are fun around town and make low maintenance commuters, but I like my gears for long hilly rides and offroad, and especially for touring. At least the Cross-Check will let you switch between SS and derailleur gears.
All City does make some nice bikes though, I have my eye on the Space Horse.
