You are PHYSICALLY trapped in the system no matter how good your subsistence skills are. You have nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. That is what I consider an apocalypse. Europe is ground zero for the disease of industrialization and population density which guarantees a state of slavery for mankind by making self-reliance impossible through transforming and controlling the natural environment. Without a frontier, a true wilderness, we are all trapped in the cage of a tyrant. I support all efforts to rapidly and drastically reduce the population and disrupt industrial society.
