The midwest has the great lakes, the Mississippi river, the black hills of south Dakota the ozark and porcupine and turtle mountains, the great plains, the badlands, red river gorge etc. As for culture that's just ridiculous we have a culture that has evolved from German, polish irish and Italian immigrants. The midwest consists of 12 states in the north central area of the US to generalize them like you did is laughable, you are just an uncultured bayou boy that hasn't traveled the country.
