It doesn't really shovel, but the head pivots so you can have it sideways, and in that configuration it can be used to "paddle" snow away from tight spots. Leave the head as in the picture and with raking motions you can disappear snow as fast as a proper snow shovel. Proper length to it means that you can work standing up on your feet. Since it is pretty slim, it can be stowed away very neatly in your car too.
I thought this thing would be good when I bought it, but I had no idea how versatile it turned out to be. No idea where you could get this thing, outside Scandinavia. Over here it is sold for ~15$ at a hardware store chain called Biltema. If you can find it on Amazon, Walmart or something, get it if you live somewhere with regular snow fall.
