hello /hgm/
i have bought a house and im moving in in early winter
my question is, is there anything that i should or could do during winter in order to prepare for growing stuff?
climate is Dfb according to the Köppen-Geiger map and winters can be quite cold so diggin and cuttin the earth is probably a no-go in jan-mar-
for details sake i plan to at least try and grow most of what i usually buy from the store, so: potatoes, garlic, onions, artichokes, carrots, other root vegetables, cucumbers, zucchini, various spices... basically anything goes
some berries and fruits too but most of what i want of those are already planted since before so I'll leave them as they are for now
crayfish too i guess, i think some fag put the into the pond ages ago
there is a small greenhouse and some plantation beds left behind from the previous owner
i've never lived in a house in my life, and now i have 13 acres of wood, field and pond
if no one has any suggestions i will probably just try and fail for the first few times and then maybe get it right at some point, but in any case you can expect shitty pictures and rants starting spring or so next year on /hgm/
