This is a little specific issues and a little general advice, how do you get a better sense of what part of the ecosystem you're building is fucked?
I'm so worried about both over watering and under watering my succulent garden and issues with heat as my stupid fucking state experiences summer (99 in the shade).
I get paralyzed by conflicting advice that I don't know if it's folkloric or true. For example, "don't water in the morning during summer, the excess water with steam and kill the roots" and "don't water in the evenings, it will water log the roots because there will be no evaporation".
And then there is all the stuff that's my job to learn but I'm a dumb dumb and I keep forgetting to check (dormancy periods where watering should be reduced versus) or if pot mates are truly have the same needs or its just "good enough for now".
And then there is confusion I have on how to provide enough sun and also protect from the heat in my stupid desert region.
Anyway, this is fun and I'm learning a lot.
