>>2655128recurve or compound? if you're trying your hand at bow hunting I'd definitely recommend starting compound. bow hunting is hard mode enough with a compound, recurve is legendary mode. I started with a bear cruzer g2, 300ish bucks for the RTH( Ready to hunt package ) that includes some bells and whistles like the quiver, sight, and stabilizer(not necessary but not a big hindrance either).
