Today was the day. I was finally able to get the temperature among the shelves to even out. I spent the 6 hours planting 1620+ seeds in 540 spots. It took a lot longer than I imagined it would take due to various reasons I'll not go into. At least everything was straight forward.
It was odd ripping out the 14 or so volunteer tomato seedlings only to replace them with new ones, but I really don't want an unknown ratio of tomato plants. I'm hoping a great deal of the weed seeds that will sprout, have mostly sprouted already. That will make things easier later on. Allowing them to grow over the past several days has helped me spot trouble areas with water, heat, and light before the real crop was planted.
