>>1526617...The remains of the volunteers have been moved (5th row middle image) to the new raised beds (pic below that one.) The 1st gen store bought tomato seeds in the 4-gal water bottles are doing exceptionally well. I didn't have time to move all of the oldest compost pile. Volunteers keep popping up in it (bottom left corner pic.) There's some squash of some type, maybe running zucchini or pumpkin. Lots of wild greens (lamb's quarter) which I've nearly eaten too death now, a few tomatoes, and tons of tomatillos.
The bed sheet pup tent has 5 cuttings from the Brad's Atomic Grape tomatoes. The cuttings were about 6-10 inches long and buried up to almost the tip top leaves and well watered. The pup tent shade cloth is working very well. It has a single line of twine across the top, tying those center stakes together.
In these 4 pics there's a close up of one of the tomatoes in the new raised beds. The other 3 images are the plots for 3 store bought Patriot blueberry plants. I mixed local soil with some of the old compost and as you can see there's a plethora of volunteer plants now; squash, tomatoes, tomatillos, pokeweed, lambs quarter, and some sunflowers.
Well, I'm off to mend a fence and make some boarders!
