>>2141635>>2141649>>2141678>>2141692thanks. i think i shouldnt rush it considering i might regret it. i have an idea which is to just buy a reel for this old rod that i have from like 8 years ago that has a broken reel. it has a 10-30 gram rating which i assume is the lure weight. isnt that great for pike? im thinking of making this a temporary pike rod for now and get a light rod next week so i dont have to rush that one. though this rod is not like the modern ones, its rather thick and feels heavy. it has no power rating though, but the lure weight bracket makes me think its good for pike. is this a good idea? what should i look for in a reel to match this rod?
