GPS is also nice to ping your lat/lon to triangulate it on a map. I may be talking to the old man of the mountains for all I know, but if you don’t have a lot of experience I’m trying to encourage you to come, not intimidate you. Just want you to know what you’ll need. A GPS is a really good safety valve for this stuff if you don’t have a lot of experience. Takes the worry out of it. Oh, and bring an AR10 with a grenade launcher on it for the beats...sarc, Bears are really cool to see but you probably never will. Yer lucky if you do.
