I'd never go back to one of those awful single shot crossbows. Just slow and clunky and objectively inferior.
Anyway, what's your issue exactly? On the Adder the nocks at the back of the bolts are supposed to hold them in alignment. The pistol crossbows generally don't use nocks so that could be the problem. Are you using Steambow arrows or chink ones?
