That’s the thing I know they can go a mile or more but it’s at least 2-3 to get to any actual water and the “creek” is cemented in now… through town. I only say the forgotten watershed thing because inexplicably we had a snapping turtle walking through our yard too a year or so back. Aerial images are just city blocks for blocks and block. I live in a melanated area though and the backyards mostly adjoin and are unkept and wooded. House got paid off this year plan on buying some land in the country before fall but after I pay the taxes so we can get out of the area.
