Have you tried the RipStops yet? I played with it a bit and they’re pretty cool but haven’t seriously used them. I really need to get out the next 2 months while the bass are actually hitting shit besides Texas rigs.
Still confused on this new X-Rap I got because I can’t tell if I have seen this color before. It’s “Purple Gold” I think. And the X-Rap “Gold” has been my favorite color but it looks more copper with an orange belly and tail.

But you need to figure out the size you really want. Basic freshwater for bluegill and crappie up to bass and channel cats or small-med carp would be a Medium rod with something like a 2000-3000 (or 20-30) size reel and 6lb-10lb monofilament line.
