>>363706>>363714It's in the middle of the Sahara desert, hot as fuck during the day, cold as fuck during the night, you can expect rainstorms, snowstorms and sandstorms, and you need to deal with political instability in Tchad, which means tons of people looking for cheap ways to make money, so you never know if the food delivery by plane you paid for will ever arrive because you just can't carry it all, and then you have local rebels and corrupted border guards roaming the area, so you'd better have a good binoculars to spot them from afar so you can hide, or enough ways to negociate if you're found, and also make sure all women that accompany you properly wear their headscarf otherwise they're beheaded on the spot, and obviously few people at miles around to help you.
Otherwise you can pretty much walk to the top if you're willing to make enough detours, though there are plenty opportunities for rock climbing. Of course that's if you're not a faggot and actually walk to the top, instead of driving half the way and then reaching the summit on the back of a dromedary, after having paid a huge sum to locals so they can "protect" you from, well, themselves, and if you do in on winter when temperatures are much better.
Many people died there though, because the slightest fuck up is fatal.
