>>2298053It's very difficult to recommend a rod because there's simply so many... It might simply be a case of choosing one that you think is comfortable to hold. I like shorter spinning rods at about 8ft because I feel like I can actually cast the rod much faster than the guys next to me using 10 and 11ft spin rod's and that might explain why I am the longest casting lure fisherman I know
In regards to rod handles, I really like mine for sea casting as it is nice and lightweight but you still have the grip on the butt end to grab for those power casts
I would have a look at what the Norwegian sea trout anglers are using as they are truly cutting edge
Otherwise, have a look at Japanese rod makers like diawa, HTO, major craft
