At least it isn't really sunny, but I still had to wear a hat. I was able to get this much done despite the buckets of sweat rolling off me. The bottom pic is a temporary raised bed for pumpkins this season. It has somewhat hot cow manure with aged cow manure, sand, and clay. I just need to mix it a bit better tomorrow and hopefully plant. The top pic is corn. It seems to be going along well despite the ever encroaching weeds. I should also be able to get the sorghum planted tomorrow too.
I'm cutting it close planting the sorghum this late. I have more corn to plant, but I'm waiting 2 weeks so it won't cross pollinate with the sweet corn. At least it is a short season pop corn.
