>>2049343>>2049947You can do a simple mod to that sheath like running a loop of 2 inch web strap and attaching it through the rivets thal'll allow you to carry horizontal if you want to and also loop a firesteel though it. Nice knife.
Pic sort of related, simple mods to my sheath, adding a D-ring allowing it to be used with a dangler adding the strap to allow horizontal carry and a firesteell, and before anybody asks, it's a Knives of Alaska (made in TX) D2 Brown bear cleaver and D2 Cub Bear caping knife combo. I frequently just take this combo and my surprisingly capable cheapo Coghlan's folding saw and for just camping or even hunting, it'll do nicely. A compact bushkekker trio.
