>>1718366>>1718367I made a serrated bone knife from the femur of a deer my dog brought me. I made the blade completely primitively using limestone to bash the bone, and sandstone to shape it and form an edge. I then used a little piece of sandstone to make serrations. I went modern with the handle and sheath and used eastern red cedar, modern tools, and paracord to make it a functioning neck knife. It’s sharp enough to cut plants, peel bark off, and probably cut meat (haven’t tested that). For 15, I’d say I’m doing alright.
