>>1232149Alright, well I'll give you this mock-plan. This is just an idea and a template of what you can do. You would need a car (rental or otherwise). This plan is also somewhat you're planning a trip for summerish.
Day 1:
Spend your first night at a place in Southern Utah known as Sand Hollow Reservoir. If I were you, I'd make this the only pay campsite. You can basically get a spot near the lake with a flushing toilet and working shower. They only charge by how many cars you have. Here you'll have some comfy fun by the lake. There's a small island you can swim to and cliffs to jump off of into the water.

If you don't get into Sand Hollow early enough, I'd suggest spending the morning just cliff jumping here. Then when you're ready, drive about 45 minutes to Zion National Park. Buy a pass (you'll only need one and it'll last a week and grant you access to Kolob Canyons). On the first day, I'd keep it light. Just do Emerald Pools / Weeping Rock / Riverwalk. Just so you can get a feel for the scenery. You'll want to end the day while there's still light, because you'll be driving up to Kolob Reservoir and it sounds like you're not too experience with pitching a tent at night:
