I was thoroughly shilled. Fuck thorogood theyre too heavy, bottoms too stiff. Upper leather too soft. No ankle support (so wtf bother with heavy boots in the first place) they get hot as fuck but are worthless in the winter. Not waterproof.

$230 for boots by our brothers and sisters in USA I can easily justify. $230 for boots that aren't good for hiking, work, around town, a big thumbs down from me. My wolverines raiders are perfectly suitable for hiking, for work, and just around town. Their cushiony sides add a bit of warmth for winter paired with thick socks but don't overheat in summer.
