Fly fishermen anons, please help a scrub out. I mainly fish the surf and I just bought my first ever fly rod to take out there. I am curious on how to set up my reel. I have this setup in the picture, but am confused about leader and tippet. I bought some Maxima Ultragreen 20lb leader that came in a spool of 27 yds. Do I have to buy tippet or can I just tie my fly to the leader? If not, do I buy 20lb tippet to match the 20lb leader? I've been fishing for years but fly fishing is a whole different beast.
