>>40258>go to state parkWhy?
I've only been in an official campground once in my life (South Higgins Lake State Park, MI)
and will _never_ do that again, it was like a FEMA refugee camp; generators, crying babies,
1"x1" camp sites, not a blade of grass in sight, etc.
Everybody ought to get themselves a DeLorme map book of their state, which shows national
and state forest boundaries (in addition to being a overall valuable resource) where one can
drive off into the wilderness along two-tracks / fire trails (including a pop-up camper) and be
miles away from anybody else.
