'Rokita' peppers harvest, 1.1 kg total, they are easily my favorite peppers out of every variety I have planted this year.
>>2639209>Normal cayennes might be good for chili oil as well.Maybe but I don't like cayannes after comparing them to 'rokita', I doubt I'll plant them again.
'Rokita' peppers are so much better, they grow bigger and are more resilient in general, peppers are so much larger at 30+ grams, they aren't as spicy but that's something of an advantage because I don't need to cut them as fine as cayannes and they are even easier to cut thanks to their shape.
I still need to see how they'll dry tho, maybe it'll be their only disadvantage.
>Do you dry in any special way?No, just hang them, it isn't the perfect method because they can go bad sometimes but I have so many of them losing a few isn't a concern to me.
>I sometimes put a few of them into a string and hang it on the balcony to dry, but that seems impractical with this many chilies. Why? It isn't that much work and they make for great decoration around your home.
