And I hate those red and white bobbers but they work. I think 1" may be a little small so if you try and run more than ~1/8oz of weight, it's going to pull them underwater a bit.
But bobbers are cheap too. The taller balsa ones are real easy to see and the round foam ones won't crack like the plastic ones.
