>>2446308My parents have a Ryobi 42" electric zero turn; depending on grass conditions, moisture and terrain is not impossible to get 2 acres of run time from a single charge with a 45 minute break in between to fill it back up.
The one dirty secret of Ryobis current riding mowers is that they are deep cycle batteries, not proper lithium. They have new 80v models coming out soon that resolve this but after a couple years of use their Zero turn is a little finicky and will drain the battery quickly after it drops below 40% and takes a long time to recharge after 15%. Still a great mower to use, does a great job cutting and is just so quiet and convenient compared to my gas dinosaur.
