>>1969203Very fun and effective, its what I spend most of my spring/summer doing if I'm not fishing for esox. Small fish = 4-6wt, Big fish/heavy cover/lots of current = 7 or 8wt. A 7wt is a safe bet regardless of conditions or fish size. I mostly fish streamers on an 8wt but in june I break out the 5wt and use damsel/dragon fly patterns which caught me 2 of my 3 biggest fish this year.
