>>1389711>Works just as well for slingshots.I really need to get a shooting chronograph. Thanks.
>no to arm bracesThis stigma is only because of laws against it in European countries. They help reduce wrist fatigue which is a massive plus. It is okay if you are only plinking for fun once in a while, but if you are training for hunting then you should use one if it is legal in your area. You should hit your targets 70% of the time before going hunting, otherwise it can be inhumane. That can take a lot of training.
>Winter’s coming and rubber hates cold. What is it with winter and wanting to use the slingshot? I have the same problem. I've killed so many rabbits, in the area over the years, that the ones I left to breed more rabbits are super shy now and so are their offspring. Winter is better hunting simply due to no warbles in the game. In summer I can use a double T.gold band with big ammo, but in winter it becomes super sluggish so a smaller ammo and a single faster band doing butterfly is best. The biggest problem is practicing enough so that you can do snap shots when it is really cold or even then you lose a ton of speed.
>>1389645Those are for children and really shouldn't be used for hunting. Don't trust them with anything more than the tubes they come with. Putting flat bands on them can end up with them breaking and you getting stuck in the eye with a post.
>>1389745>Does anyone have an amazon link to a good value slingshot?Make your own. It's pretty easy to do. Here's one I made last winter (repost). The only thing I purchased was the ammo and safety goggles. I usually to a lot of limb processing, clearing the brush over the year on the farm. I'll look for Ys and save them up for winter whittling.
