>>1568771I use good quality tomato-chili soilmix from a known brand and add 2L perlite and 1L sand per 10L soilmix. Then i top with just the soilmix so i get less perlite floating up to the top when watering.
Here's the package info on the premixed soil:
>Composition -- Light peat (H2-4), dark peat (H 6-8), Bio compost, bark, lime, natural manure>Electrical conductivity (± 25%) -- 40 mS / m>pH (H2O) -- 5.5-6.5>Nutrition added per m3 -- 5 kg vegetable manure NPK 5-1-7, 0.5 kg gip, 0.2 l Optifer ironIn the smaller pots i put some medium-sized leca in the bottom just to cover the drainage holes so hopefully less soil escapes and so they dont suck up as much excess water.
in the two biggest for the tomatoes i didnt put any as they wont be near the edge where they get rained on and excess water is less of a concern.
And i add 7-1-5 tomato nutrients to the water.
