Hey guys, I posted a thread that's since been pruned about how I was new to fishing and couldn't catch anything. Well, today that finally changed! I was using red worms (first time using live bait, it's like easy mode) and caught a nice size bass as my first catch, but it got away while I was trying to get my camera. I caught three small bluegills and got a ton of bites, almost every catch, but they were stealing my worms. I read to just hook them on by the fattest part to give as natural a presentation as possible, which is why I didn't get night crawlers b/c they are so long. What is the best way to hook your worms? Also, the worms died after I was out there for less than a half hour, and it wasn't that hot and I was keeping them out of direct sunlight, what did I do wrong, or are they supposed to die, it didn't really affect the fish I guess.
