I need to go pick huckleberries, but I'm still trying to find good spots for them up here around my uni. Back home I'm used to them growing in super dense thickets in the pygmy forest along the coast because the soil is so shit that not much can grow there except ericaceae shit and a few conifers, but up here they grow scattered all over the place in the woods instead of concentrated in one spot for easy picking.
