>>946671This is correct, on the lake I fish (which is the 4th or 5th largest fresh water lake in North America) there is actually been a problem with an over abundance of pike, alot of scientists believe this is from the lack of commercial fishing that's been there for for the past 5ish years, because pike are aggressive they literally take out anything spawning, over the past few years populations of pickerel in areas that are fished have improved. Remote areas up north although have basically nothing.
Because we've been fucking with lakes for this long we can't just "let nature take its course" anymore.
