Living in the Blue Mountains is hella great.
>Free beacons
>Bush only a short way away
>Historic structures and landmarks a plently
All walking distance.
Also, question, are PLB's available anywhere in NSW? I know of only Kosciusko and the Blue Mountains, and some misc IGA's around the place sticking them, with the last for a fee.
Anyone know of a 1 day hike through dense bushland, unmarked? Me and co need to improve on that front.
Also, anyone know what these are for? USYD marked cameras. by the side of the last stretch of the Six Foot Track. Atlas of Living Australia project?
As well as that, I heard that NPWS had some island trips for some work to be undertaken, anyone been on one? Or in fact, any NPWS volunteering expedition / event?
